COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
PAPER, CREPE, DISPLAY
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description in preference to Federal Specification UU-P-200.
This description covers white and colored flameproof crepe paper for use in displays.
Salient characteristics:
The creped paper shall be bleached chemical pulp and shall be white or colored as specified. The creped paper shall meet all requirements listed below.

The issue of each TAPPI test method in effect on the date of solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with these requirements.
The crepe paper shall be in the form of folded sheets with a fold width of 4.5 -5.0 inches. The crepe paper sheet shall be 20 (+ 1/4) inches wide and a minimum 7.5 feet long. The creped paper shall be clean and free from tears, holes, and dirt and shall be uniform in color and formation.
Regulatory requirements. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580 to the maximum extent practicable.
Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking. Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
