COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
RAILROAD BOARD
(WHITE AND COLORED)
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description, for all Federal agencies, in preference to Federal Specification UU-C-201G, which has been cancelled.
Scope. This description covers railroad board, white and colored which is suitable for letterpress or offset printing of signs, display cards, covers and for text and line illustrations. Item requirements are parallel to the specification of the Joint Committee on Printing (JCP).
1. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
A. Material. Railroad board shall conform to JCP Q20, “Railroad Board, White and Colored” as set forth in the Government Paper Specification Standards.
B. Dimensions. Paper shall be furnished in the size(s) ordered (See Section 6, Ordering Data).
